The tablet asks each of these to sign in turn, in this order, and the consent is only filed once all of them have. A guardian is what makes a consent for a minor valid.

Stays valid for

Procedure consent normally lapses; a standing photo or data-sharing release usually does not. Signed consents show as due for renewal 30 days before this runs out, and the period is fixed when they are signed — changing it here never affects a consent already given.

Identity photo on the signer

Search still finds the patient in Odoo. This photograph is extra evidence of the person at the tablet, stored on that signer.

Tablet sign-in

Allow workspace accounts to sign in on the tablet Staff normally sign in to the tablet with their Odoo username and password, so removing someone in Odoo removes their access here too. With this on, the workspace accounts you create here also work — which keeps consents signable while Odoo is unreachable, but is a second set of credentials for you to manage.

Create this user in Odoo first. Odoo 11 has no API keys, so a dedicated login is the only option — it must be new, not a clinic staff account.

Skip TLS certificate verification

Needed when the Odoo host sends only a leaf certificate (browsers still work). Logged as a deliberate exception; the real fix is serving fullchain.pem.
